Edge, do you have a link to the newer version you found?
Been a week since seeing it....but pretty sure it was via a Google on Ebay. The long bar for attaching to the tailgate was replaced with 2 U-loops on a clip that was easy to take off so the entire ladder came off. The ladder would have continually been getting in my way on the tailgate. I have since started using my Harbor Freight step stool that works well. I rarely need a ladder so the HF stool easily stores in the bed or back seat and I found that it would be a lot safer than a ladder.

I kind of agree with that. If I did go for a ladder, it would have to be easily removable whenever it would be in the way.

Did the molle panels sell as a set or just one side?
Having spent most of my time on my new ‘24 hybrid XLT tricking out the interior, over the last several days I turned my attention to the truck bed and surrounding. What I have completed includes:
  • Installing a tailgate mounted step ladder
  • Mounting Molle panels to both truck bed side walls
  • Installing a four gang switch panel with 12V and USB power outlets to the cubby storage doorr
  • Adding a 30”x13”x10” aluminum truck bed storage box
  • Adding a ratcheting adjustable bed divider bar
  • Mounting my telescoping truck bed grab bar to a side wall
  • Switching out the OEM third brake light unit for a third party blacked out replacement
  • Adding a blacked out trim ring surround to the tailgate Ford emblem
  • Applying raised black tailgate letters
  • Adding a bed mat over the OEM DIBL
  • Adding a color coordinated carbon fiber stubby antenna
  • Installing Muslogy’s truck bed cargo net
  • Installing a tailgate support strut
  • Added a blacked out American flag hitch receiver insert cover

DId you have the FlexBed setup and removed it to install the Molle panels?

So, for the terminally unhandy, do these ladders (A) fit existing screw holes in the tailgate or (B) do I have to breakout power tools and measure?
Hoping for A, dreading B.

Option B. - No significant measuring snd drilling. Place the assembled ladder on the open tailgate positioned where it fits and not interfere with closing. Without moving the ladder, drill a single pilot hole into the tailgate using the Ladder’s pivot mount as temulate. Use a self-tapping screw in the hole you drilled. Without moving the ladder, drill a second hole opposite the first. Add a second screw. The ladder is secure nough that you can flip it around to drill the other holes in the mount in no particular order. You’re done.
