Has anyone had any issues adding an inverter behind the back seat. Any overheating issues? I have a hybrid. And want to run and outlet to the driver side cubby of the bed. I figure if the car is on and lights and A/C are on, I can run things for quite a spell and when needed the ICE will kick on and recharge things. but all that being said, I’m nervous about the inverter overheating behind the seat. Are there specific inverters you all would recommend? Or do I have all of this logic wrong?

thanks in advance.

Just look for ones with good cooling fans, discharge protection, easily accessible fuses, and simple swiches/indicators. I use to enjoy a trucker type one that had a bluetooth controller, but many also have a corded remote interface that could be moved to inside the center console or even the dash cubby with extensions.
