So I made a change to one of my mods. I had installed a switch in the face plate of the DIy power cover as seen here. this was for bed lighting.
Unfortunately due to its design (it sticks out), it got ripped off last week as I was loading things in at the end of a tailgate. So, I've...
yes, so for mine, the power is plugged in by the tow kit connection. This goes to a trickle charger (I erroneously said inverter yesterday) and then on to my brake system and light wiring. My brake system I went with was the demco stay in play duo. Iām uploading some pics to show the demco...
If Installed correctly, your equipment list will include a [edit:] trickle charger installed under the hood powered by your 7 pin adapter that will maintain your batteries charge. Additionally, youāre only going 3 hours or so at a time (at most) before stopping and allowing you to make sure...
I went with blue ox because I didnāt want to mess with the shutters. Though I was pleased with the bumper fascia cutouts my installer did, I ended up buying a Maverick FX4 bumber fascia and modifying it...
Heading North and itās been great having this Maverick. For day trips or excursions. Itās changed the way we plan and do things, plus I think it looks great being towed.

replaced bumper fascia with the fascia from the FX4 to better fit the blue ox tow kit.
added the Back Flip...
I doubt the link Iāll share at the bottom of this will work. But go to parts.ford.com
Itāll make you pick a local dealer, thatās fine. However, the key is - do not add your vehicle by vin though, because it will say this part is not for your vehicle. Just select the year, make and Maverick so...

Blue Ox Ascent Tow Bars - $1050
Wiring Kit - $200
Demco stay n play duo brake system w/ monitor - $1350
12V Battery charger - $50
labor for this...
