Added an extra set of cargo management cleats

Hey MTC. I added a pair of OEM cargo management cleats to my bed rails to have 6 tie downs for my cargo net. I bought the 2 cleat kit from Ford accessories: https://accessories.ford.com/products/cargo-management-system-2-cleat-kit.

Installation was easy. You have to remove the rail, pop off the plastic end cap, then slide on the cleat. Then put the end cap and rail back on. You need a torx T30 bit to remove the rail.

Sorry the pics are dark, I installed at night in my garage. I'll take better pics during the day tomorrow.

Use AFF20 and it will be $80. Still a bit steep, but that code worked last week for my Bed Divider.

Nah, they’re just simple little machine screws. Just turn ‘em until they’re tight.

(We put in our own “DIY” bed rail, using Philips-head stainless steel screws, not Torx head, in the predrilled holes that come on the truck for this purpose.)

Yeah, I couldn't find any aftermarket cleats, so I bought the OEM ones.

I ordered the bed rails after receiving my 2022 XL. Torque specs on the M6x1.00x25 which is the one nearest the cab is 106.2+/-15.9 in. lbs. Torque specs on the M8x1.25x28 which are the middle one and the one nearest the tail gate is 132.7+/-20.3 in. lbs. These are taken directly from the installation for the bed rails I ordered.

My bed divider should arrive some time next week. (Delivery estimates were Thursday, then Wednesday, then Tuesday!) I have to empty the bed and get some work done to the bedliner and turn the rails back to where they belong...and then install the divider. I hope I won't have to pull the rails off to install it. But I'll take pictures once it does arrive.

This is from the drop-in bedliner instructions referencing reinstalltion of those bolts. It calls for 9 lb ft.
