Ford took the stupidest parts of Tesla/Rivian direct retail orders and merged them with legacy OEM style dealer orders and what results is an abominable chimera where tens of thousands of retail orders get cancelled.

To truly understand how stupid Ford is simply note that they've been losing sales and market share for many decades.
For example
1979 sales 3,624,074 / US population 225 million
2005 sales 2,923,292 / US population 295 million
2019 sales 2,396,532 / US population 328 million
2022 sales 1,847,753 / US population 333 million

Do you know how bad at your job you have to be to sell a third less cars when the population grows by almost 50%?

Does anyone track the actual % of Mavericks built? My order was early and I still have not heard anything. Giiven my experience it seems unlikely Ford will build this years orders. Are they way behind?

General mood is different from a couple months ago. Looks like yesterday was a barn burner for scheduled build dates. Whereas most people were of opinion that a ton would NOT be built, I think that has flipped and now there is optimism that most will be built. From what I am reading, there was a boat load of hybrids scheduled, especially Lariats.

According to Ford Authority, July 2023 is when the 3rd shift begins.
