I have a hard top trifold tonneau cover. Love it!!
If you can afford a bed cap, that's up to you. For me, I make trips to Home Depot and Lowes to buy lumber products to build raised bed garden boxes, and offer free delivery. I simply fold back my tonneau cover so I can transport the boxes. There are times when I deliver two of them, one stacked on top of the other, so a bed cap wouldn't work for me.

Retractable caps take up valuable room in the bed of the truck, limiting space to load things in.

I wan Bed lighting LED now that I have the cover. I also would like cabin LED floor lighting. But nervous on adding these items and depleting battery
