ACC distance bars on 2025 Lariat - picture.

I have had this odd display of the ACC distance bars [blue bars when setting the ACC distance] from day one on my 2025 Lariat. The dealership tells me the display is normal [I don't believe] and I don't agree. Please post a picture of your 2015 Lariat ACC Distance bars so I can compare. Notice the fade out bars on my top right side of my first "bar & car symbol" above.

Someone got a new design toy and wasted time with it.
Compared to spending time on other design actual issues perhaps.

Mine looks the same. I didn't notice until last week. I haven't driven much on the highway and set the distance one time and left it, and that was almost a year ago.

Thank you for posting the picture. Guess that's how Ford designed the ACC bars with the top right cut-off [just looks wrong].

As HeyBales said, it's supposed to be a "shadow" of the car in front of you. The Maverick in the image has a shadow rendered as well - there's just no ACC bars to look funny under it.

It almost appears like a close wide light source, with the shape of the shadows.

I wonder if there is actually something in the dash display they are pretending is the light source to cause those shadows.
Now that would be goofy.
