About Ready to Look for Another Dealership.

Idk but my dealer did tell me that It was going to be at least 3 to 4 months if not longer!
Even my mother-in-law told me if I order a new car it was going to be a long wait because of chip shortage and covid etc...

My order was placed on 10/9

I don't know if it is my dealership's allocations being quite low because they don't tell me when I ask, but I ordered my 2022 Ford Maverick XLT AWD in Velocity Blue with Luxury, 360, and FX4 packages on Aug 14. Still to this day I do not have a built date. Is anyone else in a similar boat? My dealership isn't even all the eager to keep me informed and up to date on anything. Can anyone recommend a better dealership in Ocean County NJ or at least close to it?

I know someone aug 16 no build date. If you have any commodity constraints that will hold up your order. Person I know has almost all of them. I took all of mine off xlt straight build with only a sliding window. Added spray in liner later. Ordered 6/26 delivered 10/30 . Keep in mind they only started building retail Sept 13 I believe. So total wait for me 4 mos exactly.

There are several of us on their site (myself included) who ordered in June and don't have a build date. I'm a patient man and don't have a need for the truck at the moment, but seeing orders placed months after yours being scheduled is getting old.
