23 EB Lariat, 9,800 miles. I pulled the floormats out of my rear seat area for the first time since taking possession of it. While vacuuming I got stuck by what turned out to be the tip of a needle that was imbedded in the carpet. In the pictures you have to enlarge the image to see the needle sticking out of the rug right in front of the center of the nose of the pliers. It is sticking out about 1/8 of an inch. I pulled it out easily and found that it was just the tip of a needle and about 5/16 to 3/8's inches long. Only two people and a dog have been in the rear seat area and none of them were using a needle for any purpose. Plus the needle was under the factory/dealer installed floor mats. It had to be stuck in the carpet in the factory or at the dealership. It is a tiny needle tip, made for very light sewing. I can't figure out what they would have been sewing that required such a small needle. Any ideas?
