A few issues with my Mav, and what has and hasn't been resolved.

Might be a long one... So far I have 26k in just under a year. My Mav has developed a front end clunk with any bumps or less than perfect road conditions (dealer cant find any issue) It has started doing this thing where at a stop it surges and the motor acts like its switching from gas to electric mode in rapid succession and it feels like its trying to move forward even though I am holding the brake. (Dealer says no codes so no problem found)

Those are the major ones. My heated steering wheel intermittently wont heat or sometimes it will heat for a few minutes then gets extremely hot then cools completely down. (Dealer says tests in spec) I don't know what its called but that feature when you activate it and come to a stop and it holds you there until you press the gas, well it will do that when not activated. I come to a stop and let my foot off the brake and it wont creep forward. I check the button on the console and it is shut off. (dealer said no problem found).

And the least important is the roof seam trim is loose and is noisy at speed and the bed rail caps are warping (Dealer ordered those for replacement)

I otherwise love my truck and still talk it up but I feel that these are problems that are only going to get worse and when my warranty is up have no recourse.

If you have another dealer in your area, I would take it there, and also buy an extended warranty. The price goes up after 12 months. Check with flood or Granger. I forget which one, but one of those dealers has extended warranties for $50 over their cost. Perhaps someone will post with which dealer sells them cheaply. You can buy the warranty online, unless you live in Florida or California. It's also transferable, if you decide to sell your buggy Maverick later.

seems like the items in your 1st paragraph have been reported before and fixes available. Hopefully some hybrid owners can chime in. I very well could be wrong. But dang, those seem like major issues, that I would want corrected before warranty running out. Are other Ford dealers around your area? Sounds like your current one just rubber stamps no problem found.

NorCal has been pretty cold (for NorCal) lately and I have the shimmy before the engine gets warm. Autohold is default and must be selected off with each startup. The button will show it is off, but shows nothing when on. Can you video the button off and Autohold still activated?

NorCal has been pretty cold (for NorCal) lately and I have the shimmy before the engine gets warm. Autohold is default and must be selected off with each startup. The button will show it is off, but shows nothing when on. Can you video the button off and Autohold still activated?
my autohold defaults to off and it only does it on occasion so that's why the dealership said they didn't see it.

Even with Autohold off, the truck has hill start assist by default. They are two different things. If you let off the gas, and give it a couple of seconds it will creep forward(that's the hill start assist). Autohold won't move until you hit the gas or turn the button off. I can't comment on the other stuff.
