Pre-collision is the main one, haven't tried turning it down, will need to look up how to do so when I can find some time. Also despise having to turn off the auto stop every time I restart. And that goes for the transmission mode as well. I'm more of a driver than an operator, preferring to make decisions based on my perceived needs at a particular point in time and place.
Would much prefer an 'Opt In' system that allows a 'set it once' option. The necessity of 'Opting Out' every time you start the vehicle is nothing more than 'nanny state' policy being forced upon manufactures, who take the easiest, read cheapest and safest legal, way to implement said policy.
I ride a motorcycle, and have for more years than most folks on this list have been alive. Read a good article recently about this in a motorcycle publication article. The same problems apply to auto manufacturers as well.

Technology enhances two key aspects of modern motorcycles: safety and convenience.

Those are the objectives, but as manufacturers continue developing advanced rider assistance systems (ARAS), bikes are only becoming more complex. There’s traction control, wheelie control, and slide control (some models even come with launch control). That’s not even touching on the multiple features associated with the latest radar, semi-active suspension, and Bluetooth technologies.
As features proliferate, they could make us less safe, rather than safer."

We are responsible for all of our actions, and cannot shirk them by abdicating them to a non-human entity. Operating a vehicle is not a part time job, it requires your full attention, and the ability to perform at the skill level required to safely operate your vehicle.
A vehicle can be a deadly weapon in unskilled hands, so if you don't wish to be a DRIVER, please find another means of transportation. Your life and mine are at stake.
Now I will step down from the soapbox and return you to the regularly scheduled program.
Thank you. . . . . . . . . .hpdl (herr professor doktor lesmeister)
