$720 Successfully Comes off for Lariat Hybrid

Just got back from getting my order in at the dealership. Wanted to share, as people advised me was likely, Build and Price adding money for the Hybrid to the standard Lariat is wrong and the order banks had the correct pricing. Had to laugh when the salesman looked at the order and said he didn't know why the engine was showing a negative amount. I said "because the AWD is standard now on the Lariat and the Hybrid is 720 cheaper than the AWD" and he said "of course" and joked that maybe we should switch sides of the desk.

I was the first non-rollover order they had put in, and he was surprised at my wealth of information, which is all thanks to lurking for two months on this site, so shout-out and thanks to all of you!

Side note: no issue getting a signed agreement with X-Plan from this dealership. Feeling really lucky today. Let's hope my luck stays in tact through this process!!!

Funny, my rep said the same thing about knowing more than him, all due to MTC. Dec. 22 when I added SIBL and cargo, I gave him the codes to get the cargo promo. He didn’t even know it was a thing! Then got a build date a couple weeks later. Good luck you’ll love it.

So strange, base msrp for carbon gray lariat hybrid is $35,635 but any other non tinted color is $34,135. Anyone else see that?
