Pay for truck before it comes in

Just wondering if dealer can sell you the truck before it comes in.i may be out of town when it gets here first of august so thought my daughter could pick it up if needed to.

Asking the dealer is your best bet for reliable information on what that dealer will do.

What Linda said. Also, there was a fella on here that couldn't get to the dealer right away after his truck arrived. Well the dealer sold it out from under him. I'd make sure you make arrangements for sure. These things are hot potatoes and the dealers would much rather charge huge mark-ups by selling to the public vs. as an ordered truck.

Supposedly, Ford is cracking down on dealers that sell a vehicle to a person whose name is different than what is on the production order.
Still, if you cannot change your plans, work out payment and delivery before you take off. Also, let your daughter know (or whoever is going to pick up the truck) what issues to look for before signing for the truck. (Those issues are on other posts on this site.)
