Has anyone successfully avoided dealer ADM charge?

Thankfully at my local Ford dealership (Mullinax Ford) there wasn't even a mention of ADM's considering they're a franchise that doesn't believe in dealer markups, at least on dealer orders and most in-bound units. I have noticed that some of their full-size Broncos over the past year got marked up here and there but the majority of their stock units and all dealer orders are sold at MSRP. When sitting down with my salesman and used inventory manager, there wasn't even a mention of dealer markups. So I was able to lease my Maverick at MSRP with only $4500 down. Later I got half that down payment back thanks to my Toyota Tacoma lease turn-in that had $2400 worth of built-in equity. So realistically, I only had to put $2100 down on a new vehicle which is a steal in my book.

OP ..you need to explain clearly ,you are not walking away , you will go to Ford, you will hire an attorney ,you will hit social media with a vengeance and post your experience on every Maverick board out there ,this in turn will cause you 100,s if not thousands of negative reviews .you need to communicate as calmly as possible .But with great resolve..do you have documentation of your order?
I know there’s lots of things I could try, but I’m looking for someone who actually backed a dealer down. I’m guessing nothing will work. I’d like to point out my dealer hasn’t tried it yet, there’s no truck yet, and my salesman swears they won’t mark it up. I’m just trying to be prepared.
