Private Offer Certificate # Comes with Expiration Date

When I called Ford to get my private offer certificate # I was told it had an expiration date of 10/3/22.
When I received a copy of my new 2023 order (transferring from unfilled '22 order) it did not include anything
about my $2750 private offer discount. When I mentioned this to my salesperson, he explained that the discount
would be applied when I came into to pay for the truck. Obviously, I am not going to receive my truck by 10/3 so
how is this going to work?

Was anyone else told that their private offer has an expiration date?

My dealer told me that an expired certificate would not be honored at delivery. He suggested that I call Ford Marketing (who gave me my certificate) and try to get it renewed or get another one.

He also told me that the Farm Bureau discount would be honored.

I was sitting with the Sales Manager when he asked his area Rep what the story was with the Jan 3rd expiration date. The Rep said that was the end of the fiscal year and that they could regenerate the certificates after that date to reflect the next fiscal year, like they did for the Bronco roll over private offers.
