Ordered 6/30, took delivery 12/31
Ecoboost, Lariat First Edition
It is quite the size difference compared to the lifted F150 I traded in for my mav

I understand why hybrid purchasers would be of a group that might not normally buy an F150, but seeing that you went from an F150 to an ecoboost maverick, can you give us more insight into the reason of the downgrade?

As a daily driver, a full size pickup in the city sucks. The maneuverability of the mav will make everything easier, especially parallel parking.
Makes total sense. Glad the mav fits your needs better. Not to mention a great tradein value

Right with you there. Unless you need a full sized truck for work, they are insanely huge these days. The "mid sized" trucks aren't much better. The maverick is still a lot bigger than my old 1980 toyota.

Those are some cold photos. Night plus snow on the ground. We had 75 degree weather yesterday, but of course we have to put up with the occasional tornado. I'm trading my F150 for a Maverick too. I keep going back and forth, but the F150 is to large for my needs now.

Same here, downsizing from a 2014 F150, Maverick on order. The Maverick seems to have all the capability I actually need.

Same here. Downsizing from a 2018 F150 because I rarely ever used the full capacity of the bed, except for family road trips. We traded in my wife's explorer for an Expedition for that purpose.

90% of my driving is to and from work, with just me in the car. The Mav will be much better suited for that, and have just enough capability for my hunting and fishing needs.

I’m pretty sure it was around -5 outside when I took the pictures, was very appreciative of the heated seat and steering wheel!

there are some other people on this thread that have now also posted about downsizing from f150 to mav. The F150 is too big for being an easy daily driver. I switched from a 2015 XLT with the 2.7eco, so going to my first ed lariat was a HUGE upgrade

some other reasons:
1. Every time i used the bed in my f150, i could use the bed of the maverick no problem.
2. Gas mileage sucked with the 2.7eco, i was average 16mpg overall.
3. AWD with the mav is a lot better for driving in the snow than 4x4 in the f150 that cut my turning radius in half
4. 125k miles on the 2.7eco was starting to be a b*tch to maintain, I have my own DTC reader but most of the codes were bs, so picking up my mav with 20miles on it is a big upgrade.

This is exactly what I ordered except I'm getting the hybrid. Congratulations on getting your new truck.
With all the talk about constraints, I was getting worried about having ordered a First Edition with so many options. It's good to know the FE's are still getting built.
