When I was at SEMA this week I actually put this little short vid together specifically for all of you here at the forum because there have been a lot of questions and conversation about many of these parts. Thought it might help to see them up close and in more detail than the Ford website shows. Enjoy.

I’m curious what the drop-in liner will end up like. How will it work yet keep all of the tie-down points available without letting water get trapped to rust under the liner?

Drop-ins are tough, but don’t want problems down the road.

Our video on the Beach Watch Maverick shows the drop in bedliner. It's in the playlist linked at the end of this video.

Thank you. That helped answer my question. It appears the D-rings and tie downs are removed, bedliner placed, then tie downs go on top. It looked like a good fitment, so I will go that route. (when the drop-ins are available later)

I had been planning on a spray-in myself but after seeing how well the drop-in fits and how it's almost and OEM quality with how it integrates with the bed features like the hooks and cubbies, I am leaning toward the drop in. I like spray-ins but once the surface wears and ages you own it. The drop-in can be swapped out for a new one.

Wow, looks like Ford pulled out all the stops when designing that accessory display board….
Probably OSB sheets left over from their original PR photos and videos for the Flex Bed. :p

spray in can be renewed for a cheap price and look new again. The drop in will likely not protect the bed as well and there will be damage underneath.

this is obviously biased as hell but line x vs drop in

The constraint on spray-in bed liner material also impacted the marketing team's plan?

If you want an ugly ass cab wing, save yourself some coin and get one off ebay.
