Anyone get an update? I got an email 10/31 saying they'd update every 45 days and haven't gotten anything. Happy holidays everyone!

I have our dealership email connected to our customer orders so we get the updates as well....We just had a bunch come through staggered over the last 30 min.Mine is due today..nothing yet.
Ordered a Hybrid Lariat in September of 22. I've considered searching for one at a dealer because I need it for work and afraid it's going to take a year plus to get it. The only reason I don't is I gave them a $500 deposit. I asked the other day if it takes too long (8-12 months) and I want to cancel can I get my deposit back. They said that Ford required it and I cannot get my deposit back if I want to cancel. Guess I will wait. Anyone out there know how to get their deposit back if in the future I decide to cancel? I'm not complaining about the wait time. I get it, but just need it for work and my 4runner is costing me money with the 18mpgs.I got the first update on 10/31 and the second update on 12/16. Doesn’t matter to me at this point. I was told by the ordering dealer a week after I placed my order that they didn’t have enough allocations, and also that I had too many things that I ordered that were on the constraint list. It was at that point where I decided that I was going to search Ford dealers as far away as I was willing to travel to find a hybrid Lariat w/CP and the lux pkg, and I did. So, I’m all set and extremely happy with my little truck!!
Literally just got my 2nd 45 day letter. Knew it was coming, but wanted to be one of the lucky ones. Lol set a reminder on my phone for 45 days from now. Feb 2nd.Like Clockwork, mine came today, exactly 3 months from the day of my order
That dealership is lying to you through their teeth!! Ford doesn’t require a $500 deposit to order. It IS the dealership that required the deposit. I would go talk to the sales manager and tell him you want your deposit back. If he refuses, go up the chain and take it to the owner of the dealership if you have to. I ordered mine w/o a deposit. It the individual dealerships that decide if they want to collect a deposit or not.Ordered a Hybrid Lariat in September of 22.
