In 2015 I had a 3m window film installed on my srt windshield. It had the same benefits as the new film. In 2022 I sold the car and the film never peeled or bubbled and has a lifetime warranty. It’s real hot when it gets hot here where I live, so I didn’t really notice a cooler cabin. My dash on the other hand looked like new

I did the windows on my first truck with 3m tint and kept it for 18 years and it looked as new then as it did on the day it was installed.

I put 3M ceramic tint which is one level below crystalline on all the windows of my Prius and it made a huge difference in heat. Plus I stopped getting sunburns on my left arm.

I already put 3M ceramic tint on the front windows of the Maverick and I think I'm going to go ahead and have the crystalline put on the windshield. I live in Western Tennessee where it's very very hot and I really like not getting sunburned while I'm driving.

Also consider Huper Optik. Can't do the front windshield in Louisiana b/c inspection sticker and not allowed. Had the H.O. installed on my Edge and it rejects the heat. Some films heat up in the sun. ~$100 per side window.
Only available to certified installers.

About $180 here. I've considered it, but then you're out that money when the windshield breaks.
