Thanks everyone for waiting so patiently.

The solid covers are now listed on my Square Shop at:
https://segarms.square.site/
They are $10 shipped at this time. I really have not figured out how much they are costing me in Materials, Shipping, Time and Effort but I think $10 should cover it for now.

Our covers are 1 piece. I will also print the 2 piece covers on request if desired. I do not own any part of the 2 piece design but am happy to make my printing services available to those that want it.

The 2 piece design is not currently listed on my Square Site as I have not printed any to test or Photograph but should be up by Tuesday Morning.

I will add them to the for sale forum as I am probably breaking some rules by listing in this thread.

Thanks!

What machine are you printing these on, and what is the infill? $10 seems super cheap tbh. It must take forever too.

I printed these yesterday and they are a perfect fit. There was a thread a while back where someone had mentioned hauling some pea gravel and some got into their tailgate through these openings and it rattled every time they would close the tailgate. I found this file on a Facebook group with the link to Thingiverse. Printed in Black PETG and took right at an hour. Very practical print and I have not seen anything like this being sold aftermarket.

This is the link if anyone wants to print it themselves.

Just printed them out. They look pretty small but since I don't have my truck yet I have no frame of reference. Thanks for doing this.

Yes I am discovering by number of orders that $10 is low. I did not do this to make money though just to provide a product that I felt was useful. It it turns out it is costing me money to sell them they will go up.

I print them on a Creality K1 and K1 Max. It takes 2 hours 4 minutes to print 3 covers in a single print.
I also have an Ankermake M5 and a Snapmaker 250T that may be put into production.

I am limited by the fact that 1 printer is in my office at my day job and the other is at home so productivity is limited.

I might want one but I still have no idea what they are and where they go 🤷🏻‍♂️
they go on the bottom of the tailgate where the wiring harness enters the tailgate. there are 2 holes there and they can get dirt and rocks in there.

Just an FYI to those reading/following this thread.

The number of orders has far exceeded to quantity of covers I had produced. I am printing more now but it is not a fast process and I am concerned about quality so it may be a few days to catch up.

Thank you in advance for your patience.

Several Posts on the topic. Open your tailgate and look where the wire harness goes into the tailgate. There are 2 large openings that will allow debris to enter if you sweep your bed. This is a single piece cover that @P99Guy and I developed to cover that hole.

If you fold your tail gate down, look at the bottom of it and you will see two openings, these will snap into place and cover those openings to prevent dirt, mulch, gravel, etc. from getting into your tail gate and rattling around every time you close it.

How do you like the K1 series? I have a CR10 v2 I've used for years and recently added a BL Touch to which makes it a lot easier to use. Except it takes so long to print. The K1 print speeds are really nice, but that $900 price point for the same CR10 print area is crazy, I paid like $320 for my printer.

Also my general rule with Creality is to never buy the A model of their printers, so hoping for a K1 max v2 in the future that fixes any issues that have popped up over the year or so it's been out.

Also does your Segarms store include both covers or just the bigger one?

Thanks

I am biased...
1) I designed the one piece cover along with @P99Guy
2) I did not print the 2 piece cover
3) I don't have my maverick yet (not a bias, but a good excuse not to know :) )

I have the K1 and the K1 Max. K1 is fabulous, Max not so much yet. I think it has serious bed level and bed heat issues. As long as you print in the middle of the bed it prints fine. Anywhere else and the print quality deteriorates rapidly.
i have seen the K1 for less than$400. I paid $600 but still worth it.
i also have an Ankermake M5. It is by far my best printer it just does not like high temps and is not enclosed.

To answer the question I missed.
The only version I have available is the 1 piece cover which covers both holes.

I am able to print the 2 piece if desired but I do not own that design so you will just be paying me for the printing service. I make no claim to the design or its effectiveness.

Installed the ones I printed yesterday right after I picked up the truck. Easy install and pretty obvious why they are needed. Good job Kris. Thanks.

My order arrived yesterday. Installed perfectly for both pieces. Much better than having a huge hole there.
