That's 10 months and 11 days. Yesterday I finally picked up my Cyber Orange XLT hybrid, Clementine.

I've seen a couple Mavericks from a distance but haven't had the opportunity to drive one. I'm blown away by pretty much every aspect of this truck. It drives beautifully, gets incredible fuel economy, has plenty of room inside, the bed is way bigger than my Subaru Baja. Ford just knocked it out of the park with this thing.

Found out that a rubbermaid action packer makes a decent truck box. See photo below.

Onl issue I have with the truck is a couple paint anomalies on the front bumper. It doesn't look like damage - almost like grease under the clear coat. Looks like a dark smudge. Any ideas on that?

If the dealer doesn’t have a body shop or won’t do it under warranty I would find a high quality detailed that can do paint correction and see what the have to say. These would be the detailer shops that offer ceramic coating or PPF. They usually deal with that type of paint issue.

Good luck and Happy Mavericking!!

Looks like a dirty fingerprint. I would leave it alone if it is under the clear coat. Just pretend a kid walked through your fresh concrete sidewalk!

Congrats! I waited 309 days and picked mine up a week ago yesterday. Love mine as well. Eco mode is no joke. Use it.
