I had my backup camera suddenly stop working and then my radio decided to stay on when I removed the key. The head unit was entirely unresponsive. I did a reset on the head unit and immediately returned to normal ops. To do a soft reset (thank you Mav Truck Club), with the key in the...
Looks great! Enjoy. I went from an F150 to the Mav. The gas savings alone are amazing but the truck is amazing as well. 10 months in and still very happy.
The gas tax covers the mileage but some states are now adding to the cost of Registrations for PHEV, EV and Hybrids. If you have a Hybrid, these are the golden gap years until the rest of the states figure it out.
I am in SE MI as well and my Hybrid (7K miles) has gone from 40-41 MPG to 32-34 MPG since the cold weather has returned. I thought it was excessive so I am glad to hear that it may be unique to mine and possibly resolved. I run on ECO mode mostly and have been doing 80% city driving.
So I just added a hitch to prevent the "taps" that happen with parallel parking. Not meant for a rear-ender. I also used a padded tape from Home Depot sold in the HVAC dept. and wrapped the male end of the hitch. No metal to metal clunking from the hitch.
Well, you have some time to decide as the 2023 Retail order window has closed. By 2024 we should have some better long term data to share. I love mine 2.5L Hybrid, Lux. Ordered July 2021, Received May 2022. Only 3500 miles thus far. 43 MPG (80% city/20% Hwy).
Congrats. I ordered my 2022 in July of 2021 and received it May 13. 309 days. Hybrid, XLT. Worth the wait. Be patient. I actually ordered a 2023 for my child last week.
So far, so good. 3k miles. So I figured actual gas savings over what is now 4 months of use. I was driving a 2019 F150 which sucked gas at the rate of the Jeep Wrangler my wife has. We both drive almost the same miles monthly so it WAS almost dead even on gas spend. The net savings...
Time? meeting location? Not sure I am free but will join if possible. BTW, Hines on cruise control can really run your MPG way up. Love cruising thru there.
I respect everyone's opinion but I got the front bracket because I wanted a front plate (not the point). I got the OE Front Bracket from the Dealer and installed it. Install was simple and it looks fine. No issues with air flow. It looks right.
