309 days later...

309 days (but who's counting) since I placed my order and it was delivered yesterday. A HUGE thank you to the Tom Holzer (now Al Serra) Ford Dealer in Farmington Hills, MI. Will and Max communicated with me weekly letting me know the latest info. They honored the price at time of order with no games. Finance was great and I was even able to order a tailgate damper, bug shield, and front plate frame with my Ford Pass points. So often this board has horror stories about horrible treatment at a Dealer. As a daily reader of MTC, I was building up anxiety waiting and reading about the scum dealers. Will and Max and the team at Holzer/Serra were great. Thank you!

Always good to hear about honest dealers!

I also had a great experience with my dealer, Mike Maroone in Longmont, Colorado. Below MSRP, as agreed when I placed the order, and no games, etc.

Crappy dealers might be able to make a little more short-term cash by jerking customers around, but long-term customer loyalty will hopefully pay off for the good ones.
