Only mix up about 10oz at a time - no nuts or ice. Work hard to max out lifts but obviously I can't be bothered to shake powder and liquid together by hand. Can you imagine?!?

My only concern is that the manual has a cautionary statement about "motor loads" but then goes on to list vacuums, compressors, and power tools all of which draw *much* more power.

So what do we think about a 250W personal blender on the outlet?

It seems well within the 400W spec right? Is "motor loads" just a description here for high draw devices?

"Motor loads" generally require no more draw than 75% of available capacity. Startup surge also has to factor in. Still considerable even if capacitor is used to start motor as it has to recharge to ready for next start assist. There is not enough amps.

No problem.
We use ours ALL the time. That's why it was so convenient for me to pull it off the counter and take it out to the truck to test it.
