Come on, really!? No Ecoboost on Lariat? Makes no sense to me. How can the trim care about the motor? Transmission and AWD, sure, as they get mated together. But that stuff doesn’t care about trim options. And the order system can certainly handle having as many codes as they need for the combinations. Just doesn’t add up. Let’s hope they fix that for the redesign model year.

A member who is not welcome here anymore has posted retail pricing and pages of the Order Guide on FB, so it was pretty easy to put it together. I look forward to Tim's B&P going online sometime tomorrow, so I can compare.

The order banks should open this afternoon. At first glance over the major changes page, here are some highlights:
  • New Bronze Appearance Package on XLT 301A (HEV AWD) and Lariat 501A (HEV AWD)
  • XL and Lariat no longer has an Ecoboost option
  • XLT AWD, Lobo, Tremor is the only trims with Ecoboost motor available
  • Lariat no longer comes standard with Luxury Package, $1595 option. Lariat now available as FWD HEV at $34,760 plus Destination
  • New Colors: Neptune Blue, Gladwin Green, Glacier Gray Tri-Coat
  • Deleted Colors: Azure Gray, Carbonized Gray, Space White
  • FX4 Package now included on XLT AWD Ecoboost
  • FX4 Package no longer requires XLT Luxury Package and no longer includes unique 18" wheel
  • 4K Tow Package no longer requires Ford Co-Pilot Package
  • Tremor no longer includes Bedside, Rocker, Hood Graphics (optional now)
  • Toughbed Spray-in Bedliner is no longer included in the Lariat, Lobo, Tremor (optional now)

I will have a video with complete comparison of changes that Ford doesn't include on the major changes page tonight on the Long McArthur Ford YouTube Channel.

Looks like I'll be keeping my 2022 FX4 Lariat for as long as possible. It came with everything.

Ford is gonna get rid of the ecoboost for the redesign MY... my guess!

Removing hitch & spare tire should increase payload by ~200 lbs and increase mpg by .2?

I have an MBA:)
What University

So I don't apply in

Honestly, I don't remember the circumstances. But, IMO, TB has continued to be a valued resource. Also, the 2027 Maverick Order Guide is available for download for members of the BOF forum.

Problem is they can do whatever they want. There is zero competition for this vehicle, Ridgeline starts at 41k for a base model and gets awful mileage around town.
The new Ridgeline may take some sales away from the Maverick but not because it’s a direct competition, but because “new re-design” attracts the gnats. Hybrid option most likely.

I'm interested to see what Toyota end up coming out with. I keep seeing articles that their Rav4 trucklet will be coming out 2028-ish. Don't think I'll ever get one but it's interesting to see what everyone else is coming up with following the Maverick's success.

I’m glad they retired cactus gray and haven’t brought it back. It’s absolutely the best color. now I have a collector’s item like the rest of us who selected it if you’re in Arizona. I get comments on it almost daily. It looks stunning in the desert

Great post! If I want a Lariat, is this a gouge by making things optional which were included before? Or does it give us more freedom to pick and choose?

Very informative. I'm several years away, and would only go Lariat due to leather seating and dog hairs. My question is: Does this bring back the Lariat with FWD, which is what I have and what I'd buy again. I kind of like mixing/matching options within the Lariat. For example, I could easily choose a bed mat or drop in liner over spray in, though that's fine too.
