2026 Maverick Tremor Owner

It took me a long time to finally make the decision to pull the trigger. I can be pretty particular—when I find something I like, that’s what I want.

The first time I drove a Maverick Tremor, I didn’t bother adjusting the seat to fit my comfort. Big mistake. I was so uncomfortable that I just wanted to end the test drive and get out.

Lesson learned. On my next test drive, I made sure to adjust everything properly, and this time I was actually really comfortable, though I still wasn’t completely sure.

On the third try, at another local dealership, I took another test drive—and that’s when I convinced myself I really wanted one.

Fortunately, my local dealer was able to track this one down for me and bring it in.

You must do a lot of driving Mine only has 6,700 miles and I got it April 15,2025.

I drove a total of 48,000 miles the prior year, I try to shunt most of the driving to my Fusion since my commute is where I put on 2/3 of my driving but I just love driving this truck so much and when we had bad snow I chose my Maverick, even though my AWD Fusion with its Micheline CrossTrek tires is extremely capable.

How do you like the redesign front end vs the 2024

I love the Tremor package so much I could care less about the front end.
I kinda got used to it seeing so many 2025’s around here.

This color, this configuration and the Tremors very useful extras far over shadow the front end anymore.

Five years from now I’ll likely buy a new one regardless of the front end looks.

Why five years ?
I will not risk my equity by not having full replacement warranty because these wonderful little trucks are so delicate and total out easy.
And my Ford extended warranty expires at 100,000 or six years.
These trucks are brutally expensive to repair.
