2026 Loaded Lariat Hybrid Delivery This Year?

I have ordered a 2026 Lariat Hybrid with moon roof, sliding window, 4K tow, Black Appearance Package, etc., with a trifold tonneau cover and mudflats in Space White. Dealer does not have allocation until May so maybe July production… maybe. Is it realistic to expect this Maverick to actually get built this year considering the hybrid, options and mod center adds?

^ Did you try a search within ~200 miles of your zip on the Ford site to see if a similar truck is available? Omit the cover, mud flaps etc., they can be easily added after the truck is located

I see many on the ground within a couple hundred miles of me in Maryland.

I think you just answered your own question. Kind of rare to find an exactly what you're looking for Maverick within a reasonable distance. I say call the dealer, tell him you want it and go get it. You can add all that other stuff as you go, giving you the freedom to shop around for better designs or better prices. Plus, half the fun of owning a Maverick is adding the cool stuff on your own. My understanding is that some of the builds people want may obligate placing an order in Job 2, but if you are willing to go find it and do some of the mods yourself, this may not be so bad. Getting the one that is close and adding the other things sounds like a nice opportunity to not wait .

It is nice to buy one exactly like you want, and sometimes that is the only way to get it. You can add the tonneau cover at an equivalent cost and save money adding the mudflaps yourself and not wait for months.

If you stay with the order, you should get it. Ford started scheduling Job 2 builds and is into June. A Lariat AWD Hybrid should play to scheduling. Maybe the dealership will try to give you a higher priority assignment on the allocation, but that seems iffy.

I placed an order for a Lariat AWD Hybrid with 4K tow and hard trifold tonneau cover 29 December last year. It made it to my dealer on 3 April 2026.

I ordered my 2026 Lariat Hybrid in November and it arrived in April. They were very accurate in their updates. I also got the 4k tow, black appearance and a hard rollup tonneau cover. No issues with long delays or shipping problems. Hope you get your Lariat soon and you love it as much as I do!

I received my 2026 hybrid Lariat in late February. I ordered it as a 2025 in October of 2024.

I’ve had 3 mavericks; 2 were custom orders. First was a cluster f**k during Covid and original production. Second order was late summer 2025 and was smooth as could be.
Meaning, I think Ford has it down on their end and experience will come down to selected dealership. I’d go buy the one 170ish miles from you and enjoy the spring and summer. I have the lariat hybrid with sunroof and rear window. Having all 6 windows open is an awesome feeling… not quite CLK convertible level, but it’s sure fun.

keep in mind most of the mods you mention are dealer, not factory, installed. No difference if you buy them
