2026 Carbonized Gray XLT Hybrid

Howdy from Richardson, Texas. Took delivery of my 2026 Carbon Gray Metallic Maverick XLT Hybrid on Saturday evening. Already installed a tailgate assist and the two piece center console organizer and a 12 volt power point in the flex bed location on the drivers side.


Went with the Luxury Package as it had the power seat I wanted. So far, I am really enjoying the truck and learning more about it with each drive. While running errands yesterday, I saw 51 mpg for one segment of my trip and my mileage on my morning commute today was 39.8 mpg, much better than the 19.6 I was seeing on the Chrysler 300 I traded in.

Looking to get the windows tinted and trying to decide if I want a spray in bed liner or one of the other options like a bed mat or drop in bedliner.

Welcome. That color will look great with tinted windows. Alta Mere did a great job on mine, though I did not spring for the ceramic.

I went with the Ford accessory modular drop-in and I'm very satisfied with it. It's easy to install and a great piece of kit that maximizes the space. The Duraliner is more like a bathtub and doesn't have recesses for the accessory rails. It also makes it harder to reach the fixed tie down points, whereas they are easily accessible with the Ford one.

My last several trucks had OEM or aftermarket spray-ins already done when I bought them, but I personally prefer a drop-in.

For the factory tie down bracket that had to be removed from the tailgate to fit the assist strut - there are options for a replacement tie down point that works with the strut. I have one available that I make and sell.

Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. And made in the USA by a fellow Maverick owner. I have a thread here in the For Sale forum. Don't lose a tie-down point!
