2025 XLT Instrument Cluster

Let me start by saying that I'm an 80-year old senior citizen and have been a car guy my whole life. I just traded my '22 XLT hybrid for a new '25 XLT hybrid last Friday. Has 200 miles on it. And I already HATE the damn instrument cluster! Every time I get in and start the truck, it has a different look. Sometimes the digital speedometer is in the center, sometimes it is on the left with some other garbage information on the right. All I want is for the speedometer to be in the center, every time. Nothing else. I don't care about trip 1 or brake coach or any other BS info. Don't care about any of that. So, can someone please tell me which buttons to push/toggle on the steering wheel that will give me the digital speedometer in the center ONLY, always!? I sure would appreciate it.

I believe if you hit the menu button on the steering wheel (three lines horizontal) and you can select which 'My view' to show, but instead of picking one just press the back button and it should go away. Thats how mine has been kept and its never popped up the trip meter or anything. I only every keep the tachometer on the left side but it is pretty out of the way.

I'm 61, but hate the needless tech as well (currently driving a 23 year-old Ranger). I haven't gotten my '25 XLT yet, but I have the same fears. Just tell me how fast I'm going and how much gas I've got!

I am 75 and this is the first new vehicle we have owned in decades. Technology has moved a lot in the last 10 years.
Your problem is with the speedometer and ours is with the Maverick always showing the wife's phone. The Maverick will not let me change to my phone. The owners manual is useless about this.

my 2025 has so called speedometer on the right and fake tach on the left. Its really more of a thermometer looking joke. Not sure how its possible ford sells truck without a proper speedometer or tach. It was all there in 2024. They had to go out of there way to remove it.
