I have a 2025 XLT AWD EB. Just went over 1K. Did my first oil change a few days ago. I noticed a slight oil residue on the oil pan. I have the felt cover and I didn't notice any oil on it. So it's not much. The oil is coming from the lower timing cover. I have seen others out there with the same issue, and not just the 2025's. I cleaned it up and will check it again in a few weeks. It's a lot of work dropping that cover, but I can view it from the passenger side wheel well. I would like to know if anyone else that had this leak was able to fix it without taking it back to the dealer. I'm looking at tightening the bolt where the seep is, to even putting some type of sealant or JB Weld on it. It's so minor and I don't trust the dealerships to fix it properly. And to do a proper fix would require dismantling the front of the engine to remove the timing cover, reapply sealant, and put everything back.

It’s under warranty. Let the dealer and Ford support determine if it’s bad enough to fix at the moment

Well, now I’ll have something to look for in the AM. I’ll report back after that. Sorry for your trouble. With 1k on the clock, as much as it pains me to let the stealership work on my trucks…I would. That’s way too new to have an issue like that.

There was a post here last week or so with this very same leak issue on a 24 EB. Sorry, no link - but it is there somewhere I swear!

Sorry to hear about the leak. Yeah, normally I'd also avoid the dealer at all costs, but in this case, let Ford pony up for the repairs while it's still under warranty.
