  1. Clicking noise inside dashboard

I keep seeing your posts saying to send over a private message VIN and dealership info. But I never hear anything about a fix for this dashboard noise. It’s so frustrating to buy a new vehicle and have to have the experience ruined by something that should have been looked into and fixed awhile...
  2. Fix For Dashboard Creaking Noise

Thanks for the info. I did try putting in the trim strip like someone recommended. But it was tight fitting between the dash and windshield on the drivers side and then it just fell in on the passenger side. So the dashboard is not even across the windshield.
  3. Fix For Dashboard Creaking Noise

I have a 2025 XLT AWD 2.0L. The front of the dash where the defroster ducts are has a creaking sound like a pop when I hit a bump and also when making a hard turn. I have seen some posts about sticking some rubber pads in the front of the dash against the windshield. I have tried all of the...
  4. New Maverick Purchase

    FedEx just dropped this off.
  5. Auto AC is weak when it is hot outside

I never use auto mode, just manual mode. The A/C is always working great. I hope you get it resolved, but it’s still a good idea to try another dealership.
  6. New Maverick Purchase

Air Force, here in Georgia. Robins Air Force Base. All services are great. I do like the Blue Angels though.
  7. Transmission fluid question for the experts

I have a 2025. The transmission vent on mine is a hook shaped black plastic tube.
  8. Has Anyone Used Green Filters

Has anyone been using Green Filters replacing the stock engine air filter. I have a 2025 Maverick XLT AWD 2.0 Ecoboost. I'm having a hard time finding the correct part number online because of the engine being updated. But I have come across these filters which people have said are better then K&N.
  9. To all you Maverick lovers- Keep your interiors clean !

Same here. My cars always smell brand new, years after I bought them. No food drinks, smoking, and even no farting. But of course, every once in awhile one will slip out.
  10. First oil change & Ford points

I wouldn’t trust anyone to change my oil, even if it’s free. I hope you check to ensure they actually did change the oil. If they did, was it the proper viscosity? Was the type of oil you requested such as full synthetic used? Was the oil the brand you wanted? Did they install the drain plug...
  11. Engine oil leak

Is this a dealership you can trust? From my experiences I don’t trust them to do anything. Usually they make it worse and/or create new problems. I fixed the oil leak I had myself. Otherwise my Maverick has been running pretty good with no issues. I’m happy with it.
  12. 2025 XLT AWD 2.0L Oil Leak

I have a 2025 XLT AWD EB. Just went over 1K. Did my first oil change a few days ago. I noticed a slight oil residue on the oil pan. I have the felt cover and I didn't notice any oil on it. So it's not much. The oil is coming from the lower timing cover. I have seen others out there with the same...
  13. 2025 Ecoboost 2.0 Oil Pressure Sensor Leak

Have you come up with anything on your timing cover oil leak. I just did my first oil change at 1,100 miles and noticed a small seepage at one of the bolts. Very minor, no dripping.
  14. Beware the 2025 changes when doing maintenance.

Thanks for the info. I changed my oil a couple of days ago and used the GP13 which is the rubber gasket version. I ordered both versions direct from Gold Plug.
  15. Beware the 2025 changes when doing maintenance.

Are you positive about the Gold Plug AP04 drain plug? I did my first oil change the other day on my 2025 EB. I installed the Gold Plug GP13 which is the rubber gasket version. Thread specs are the same as Ford's plug. It fit good and no leaks noted running engine. I also seen a Facebook post...
  16. Beware the 2025 changes when doing maintenance.

I did my first oil change the other day and used the AP04 Gold Plug. It fit OK and I ran the engine for a while and no leakage was noted. I also seen another post where they used the AP04 on the 2025 Ecoboost. Are you sure about that plug? I'm worried now that after a while it could start leaking,
  17. 2025 2.0L EcoBoost - Potential Oil Leak

I know this is a little late. I purchased a 2025 XLT AWD EB in December. I did my first oil change yesterday at 1K miles. I also noticed some oil residue on the bottom of the oil pan. Looked like it was coming from a cover similar to your photo. There wasn't any oil on the felt cover, so it...
