I just found experience That just because the Schrader easy go sensors claim that they are compatible with the 25s, there seems to be some problem in the definition of compatible and both the I believe the numbers are 33610 and the 36 510s although they claim their compatible with the 25s they do not work. I ended up buying a set of OEM sensors from the dealership And there were no issues with them communicating with the ECM or ECU whichever one it is.
When I look this up, the online catalog still says the 33500 is the correct EZ sensor or 29260 should be the non-programmable option "direct fit."

Yeah, and according to both the catalog and Schrader in an email, they claimed the 33610 was compatible with the 25s. It was not it would not communicate with the ECU Les Schwab had a chart and they put a set in again, according to their information, it was compatible, but it would not communicate with the ECU when I finally went to the dealership and had them install Ford OEM sensors. Everything worked properly so just because the catalog says it’s compatible does not mean it’s going to work.

I haven’t swapped my steelies for the XLT wheels on the 25 yet. I’ll find out when I do, but not sure when that’s gonna happen
I just did the swap this Monday. Didn’t try to reprogram the 22 steelies since folks saying the 25 toms are different. Got notification Tuesday night that tpms sensor error and light on dash. Truck and app showed no readings. Went away Wednesday morning and hasn’t returned. Truck and app now showing all four tires? I’m really lost on this now. Gonna trying programming them Saturday morning and see what happens

Have the old tires sitting in the garage where the truck is parked?

Sensors should have gone asleep for sending if they weren't moving - but they are still registered in the truck if they happen to and the truck is on.

The 25 rims are stored in shed about 100’ away. The sensor error popped up again tonight like it did Tuesday. I’m guessing my trips Wednesday and this morning to work and back aren’t long enough to set it off. The Tuesday evening trip and tonight to the bowling alley are an extra 4 miles to and from than from home to work

I had the same dash error (and "--") on my '22 for one tire. I had Discount Tire replace the bad sensor with a brand new one. For whatever reason they were not able to program it. Driving home did not "wake up" the new sensor.

Using the "6x flasher" method to get into Training mode, no luck. I made a dealer appt as I figured I wouldn't be able to train the sensor for some reason.

Ended up ordering the cheap reset/traiining tool on Amazon. MUCH easier since you do not have to let air out of the tires. Put the truck in Training mode using the second method (ignition on/off etc.). Used the Amazon reset tool and viola! New sensor was recognized and the dash warning light went away. Cancelled dealer appt.

Heh, just had a passel of TPMS117s arrive same day as I find some "were on a Bronco Sport" winters, which maybe have 433 tpms in, so will let you know if the BS ones sync if they've got them. BS part might possibly by more appropriate for random rims because it's dangly and not fixed angle I think... just a theory so far.

Well I've poked, prodded, examined the stem for hieroglyphics, and couldn't get a peep out of them with a radio scanner. (or a fart, buzz, click etc) so I think I just have regular valves thus far in those Ex-Bronco rims. They're not factory or Ford accessory, they are Costco specials I think.

The stems look the same on the outside. Inside, there is a little bar that the sensor attached to with a single screw. My guess would be when whomever changed rims, the tire shop broke the head and pulled the sensors for use on the new wheels.
