2025 Maverick XLT Hybrid and 2024 Escape Platinum playing Music from USB issues

So I have now two Maverick under a different skin.
After having a maverick since 2025,I just bouth a 2024 Escape Platinum for my wife.
On both of them I have the same issues: I put musinc from my computer on a USB drive to listen to while driving.
When I try to listen the music in the car or truck, my playlists are scambled and the same songs are copied several times.
Any idea why and how to remedy these issues?

I use the USB for music no problem. I do compress the music via. MP3.

Play all walks through every mp3 sorted alphabetically by title. It will see all the dupes in various folders and play them back to back.

May be the program you are using to record to the thumb-drive. Windows Media Player scrambles my USB music so I have just been going to the music storage file the drag and drop an entire album or song list to the thumb-drive.

MP3 is a compressed format. And that is what I record to thumb-drives for music. I do not use any type of player program, rather open the folder of stored MP3 files and a USB drive. Drag the MP3 files and drop them into the USB drive.

My 24 EB seems to play from my flash drive in an order all its own. I have tried track numbers with and without periods. The Mav plays all the tracks, but the order seems random. Could be I have missed a setting. I have had a problem with flash drive losing connection. Apparently, I am bumping it with my leg. I installed a USB extension and lay the flash in the console, that solved the disconnect issue.
