This is so maddening. Just went back in the truck at home to try it out. Don't want to try while driving because of distractions. Saying "Climate list of commands" doesn't even list all commands, just 3 examples, 2 of which are the same. I think we can only 1. set the temp or 2. change temp to hi or lo. I tried many variations of climate on/off and fan speed, none worked. Tried "set fan speed to zero" and "climate set fan speed to zero" and "climate off" etc. A few times it asked if I wanted to set temp to 68, once to 10 and said not a valid temp! We have a physical button for front windshield defogger which I have yet to need to use, but none for simply turning climate on/off. So we're apparently stuck with carefully touching while driving either 1. the tiny fan button, then tiny fan speed zero button or 2. tiny center climate button then tiny on/off button in upper left corner. FORD, PLEASE UPDATE THIS. Really thought about posting this as a warning not to buy a Maverick. I would say 3/4 of the time I get in the truck we want to turn climate on or off because the truck doesn't have a sensor on my skin to know how hot or cold we are and even the 3 levels of auto aren't enough. I don't want A/C blowing when I'm already fine and don't want heat when I just went for a run or a bike ride and am already hot or the sun and greenhouse effect change things. DON'T FORD EMPLOYEES HAVE TO USE THIS THEMSELVES WITH THEIR OWN CARS??? You started this Ford by getting rid of physical climate controls, now fix it. Should be a simple update.
