2025 Maverick Start of Production Notification today?

They use JIT manufacturing. All of the parts need to come together at the plant to get the assembly started so as the line doesnt need to stop production. My last three Fords 2019-2020-2023 all took approx 2 weeks in production. Im told that parts are delivered every day for that days production line run.

If this same assembly plant builds both the Maverick and Bronco Sport the line has to stop. You must have time between the shifts to restock the line for the different parts.

The 2025 model year seems to be acting differently than the 2022-2024. This will be my third Maverick. The 2022 and 2023 "went into production" about 48 hours before it was fully built. They were on the rails and out of Mexico within a couple days. None of this "In production" for 1-2 weeks before the actual production date nonsense. Window sticker was available about a week before all of that.

For my 2025 order, I was originally scheduled for this week, but was bumped to next week. This bump happened on 10/16, almost a month ago. My status has not been "updated" since then according to the tracker. Window Sticker is still not available. Which is not surprising since folks scheduled for production this week can't see their window sticker either.

My theory..... There is no "OK to buy/OK to sell" status yet due to the fuel efficiency not being approved by the feds yet. So they don't want to release window stickers that lack that info. Just my theory.

I agree. Ford sure has changed their procedures for MY25. Ford was suppose to start taking orders for Job 2 on Monday but Granger said that they have not received from Ford when orders can taken.

My guess is it is 100% related to the Hybrid AWD, which as far as I can tell has only been guessed at when it comes to MPG. Everyone keeps saying "Ohh, AWD will just reduce the hybrid MPG by 1 or 2". I don't think the feds will accept guesses. Haha.

The Ford Guy said that we will not get a Window Sticker until after the 2025 model gets EPA approval for the hybrid about 3 weeks or so. Sounds like we will know more in December about shipping, etc.

It sounds like the production/delivery will be delayed for the hybrid only...just like what happened during the fall of 2021 for the 22 Mavericks.

Keep in mind that the hybrids have the new HF55 gearbox along with the front grill/bumper changes both could have an effect on fuel mileage.

I just checked my tracking. Today's date is now entered next to "in production" where before it was blank. That's progress.

My 25 XLT has a scheduled build date for Nov. 22nd. On the online portal, it has been saying in production for a week or so now.

Go to ford.com, sign in, go back to person figure and you should see Check Order Status, put in Order number & VIN, ck the box & you can see about your Maverick.
