My 2024 Honda Accord EXL Hybrid when driven in sport mode would pipe in ICE sound when driven hard. It sounded good inside the car. BMW electric cars do the same thing!
High/cold idle is so loud on this 2025 2.0L haha I forgot you were dumping out the back, not down like stock. I think a down turn under the truck helps with the volume on mine a slight bit.100 decibels at high idle on the Borla Type 3 Maverick kit…still planning on adding a magnaflow muffler someplace to quiet it down a bit…

2.5" pipe diameter is an upgrade pipe size, correct?I'm amazed that ppl are willing to spend that kind of money on box kits. The exhaust on the Maverick isn't that complicated. I'm on my second exhaust and have spent less than the borla kit. I went side exit. Any competent exhaust shop should be able to fabricate this in an hour or two plus parts. Any 14" offset/center 2.5" muffler, 2.5" 90° mandrel, 2.5" 180° mandrel, two 3/8" hangers, tip of your choice and a couple feet of 2.5" pipe. The midbody resonator was from the first exhaust I put on but isn't really needed with the current set up.
I ordered the borla type s, the pro xs isn't enough for me.
Sounds good and I also watched the cold start Video not to loud and not to quiet IMO.
