2025 Lariat Maverick 1 week old problems

There is lots to like about this little truck but something must be wrong with mine. I filled it up today with 11 gallons of 87 octane with 140 miles of range still available according to the trip meter. 439 miles of the 546.5 miles driven were on interstate 5 most of which were at 75mph except over the two moutain ranges i had to cross which were at 60-65mph. Thats 49.7mpg

This means my baby truck can go 686 miles before it needs fuel! incredible.


Now i have owned the truck for a week and have yet to find this tps monitor its supposed to have or the 360 degree cameras. The cruise control controls are not finger friendly but it works beautifully once you get used to the truck taking control away from you if you get to close to the side of the lane ir car in front or behind you. All in all I think i will grow very fond of this little truck.

The TPS monitor is in the Dash Push the Button above the Drive Modes on the steering wheel and toggle through down to the TPS under Vehicle Maintenance IIRC.

$3.98 for regular at Costco? WOW! I bet you're glad you bought a hybrid, In Florida regular gas at Costco is $2.56 today. (11/7/25)

Thanks. I've done at least a dozen searches and none were meanungfilly responded to by the truck or Ford. I'll try it next time i go anyplace.

I don't get why so many take delivery of new vehicles and either get crappy orientation walk throughs from their dealer or don't listen when they are being shown how all the gadgets work. I'm not trying to sound like a perk but it boggles my mind.

When I picked up mine, at least 30 minute demo from my salesman on how everything worked. My previous new car purchase before the Maverick, I received the same sort of demo upon delivery from the Kia dealership I purchased from. What can I say? Sounds like crappy customer service to me.

You probably drove right past the Medford, Oregon Costco, just off i5.. I filled up there today, $3.37. Probably could have made it to Elk Grove, California and back on a tank. But Gavin Newsom thanks you.
