Roger,
Thank You for getting back to us.
Just so you know you can turn lane assist off. I believe even on the 25's the button is at the end of your turn signal stalk. Within the menu of your truck, you can also adjust the sensitivity or steering wheel feedback of the system.
Soooo I managed to find the 'Lane Assist" setting and turned it off. Its actually in the small left hand button cluster on the steering wheel (near the audio controls). When I first got the truck I went around the software (dash and main screen) turning off any automatic stuff I could find (with a few exceptions). I guess I missed one. Maybe I'm just a control freak ; -) Anyway, I had to do some driving today and that function has not reared it's creepy head so far. Although with all the feet of snow we've had here the lane markings are often obliterated. And like one of the other posters said, if I need a lane assist system to keep me on the road then don't wait to check me into the nursing home.
