Picked up my Lariat on Friday June 13th (definitely not an unlucky day for me...). Dealership experience was excellent and one of the easiest friction free experiences in nearly 40 years of new car purchases. Bought from Gervais Ford in Ayer, MA. They quoted and negotiated by text with none of the "when can you come in and discuss price" stuff. Car was 3-4 weeks away when i finalized the deal. They gave the employee pricing plus and additional $500 + a discount on the hard trifold tonneau cover ($400 less than if i had ordered it that way from factory). Was in and out of the dealership in 34 minutes and that included dealing w/ my trade. Finance guy had all the paperwork ready and didn't try the hard sell on the extended warranty.

And now on the 'event' and early reviews / thoughts - not a fan of the hood stripes as part of the BAP. They're coming off this week!. Interior has the hard plastics that we all know about but was surprised that most of the cubbies (thoughfully designed and placed) do NOT have little rubber mats on the bottom. put anything in there and you'll be irritated in 5 mins from the rattling around. No biggie - plenty of 3rd party option.

Love the Ruby Red color. Hadn't see one in person when i ordered (and going from brochures and website colors isn't great for know exactly what it'll look like) but really like. Looks great at golden hour. No homelink for garage door control, etc. No gas struts for hood or tailgate. All relatively minor, especially considering Ford was designing this truck at, initially, a $22k entry point. However, with a top trim line like Lariat, Lobo, Tremor i'd have liked to see some of these included.

Did a test hookup using the pro-trailer assist and it is a convenient feature. Makes the trailer hitch process a little easier.

Congratulations! You have a sharp looking truck!

One question...Did you only try the hitch assist only or have you tried the the back up assist too? If you used the back up assist, did you calibrate it in a parking lot? I tried to calibrate the back up assist at my daughter's acreage but did not have enough room to calibrate it (too many trees in the way).

thanks. I used the back up assist too. The 'target' made it easy to center the hitch. Only issue I had was trailer was on a slight uphill grade and the backup assist didn't want to engage. Shouldn't be an issue for most cases but its not something that can be used if you have an incline.

That's a great looking color! Congratulations and you gonna love all the little extras that come with the Lariat. Glad I got the BAP option and, I agree on the stripes. I just did the BAP treatment on my lower running lights.

I like the look of your truck. I wish you could get the black interior without buying the black package. Or just offer something other than blue for the interior.
I have a 2023 and really like my interior because it goes with the blue truck. I don’t think that blue looks good with a green truck etc.

Nice! I have the same but in green. First thing I did was to peel the stripes off which was very easy. Next I added a Hyundai Homelink mirror which has been great. Then I installed my dash cam that I had removed from my previous car and the installed a Worksport AL4 tonneau cover and finally will be installing an ABAGAEL Underbody Shield Cover (cheaper alternative to the Mabett that looks like it should be just as good) today or tomorrow. Been hauling around my 14' Hobie Pro Angler kayak with it and it has been great!

agrees 100% about the interior color. The black onyx interior should be standard, or a stand alone option at least on higher trim levels. Having blue interior for all the colors is not great.

I go by Gervais Ford every day going to and from work (Jack Madden Ford) you cant be
far from me , I live in Townsend MA .

Great looking truck , I have Space White with BAP and was going to ditch the stripes , after a month I decided to keep them . They look amazing on your red , I would give it a bit before de-striping just to be sure , they might grow on you .
