According to Ford Authority the 2025 Mach-E is coming in early 2025 and includes significant updates along with the big price drop. I may have to give this some serious thought as a companion to my Maverick. Some of the more interesting upgrades include adding a heat pump, ditching the dial shifter replacing it with a column shifter, and the new BlueCruise 1.5 update with automatic lane change.

I'm digging that column shifter. Too bad the Maverick refresh didn't get it.

Not sure I would consider the Mach-E to be Maverick competition.

It's a good price for sure but there will be compromises in getting to that price point.

Hands down the Mach-E is the best vehicle I have ever owned but it is not the base model and neither is my Maverick.

Secret fan of the Mach E, and of Ford for just making it better every single year. I'm not sure how much of the federal credit it currently gets (definitely all if you lease it), but $7,500 would drop that entry level price down to around $30,000. No gas for life. Minimal maintenance. Great warranty. Great tech content.

Now, if Ford will only deliver a similarly affordable and truly small BEV truck, I'll be a happy customer. Hasta la vista Maverick. In a heartbeat.

My sister wants one but no V2G, Vehicle-to-grid. Can't power her house.
