2025 13.2" display question, XL preferred

Curious if someone can tell me if their 2025 display screen displays things like Android Auto maps in full screen or if it ends up being a split screen (60/40ish). In case there is a difference, I'm more interested in hearing from XL owners.

I have an XLT and don't think it matters. Yes you can go full maps from your Android phone. After you connect the phone, for me the map is the default screen if you don't do anything else. If you have other things on it splits the screen. On the left side if you push the Google maps icon it will go back to full screen.

Confirming what others have said, yes you can do split screen when AA is used, both in standard AA/Sync 4 split and AA full screen modes. It's very nice and gives you a still very readable sized map while keeping audio control ready. I believe the setting is in the phone for AA to display the music on whichever side you prefer. I only changed it once so forgive me but you can switch which side of the screen the music player defaults on when you go split screen, mine was originally on the right but I switched it to the left for easier control, it's a big screen to reach across lol. Be nice on the right for a co-pilot though.

Thanks, just what I was looking for. And the Escape is identical to the Mav? As a side question, can you see the vehicles audio (AM/FM, switch tracks, etc) while using AA split screen?

Have you tried Apple Carplay in your '25 by chance? Wondering if Carplay Apple maps/Google maps can fill the entire 13.2" display.

You're welcome. Yes the Escape is utilizing the same software and hardware as the 2025 Maverick.

Vehicle audio can be displayed when AA is not in full screen mode (how the video shows it initially). You can swipe the right side IoD up/down to cycle through and show the radio controls.

AA and Carplay can both be displayed in full screen or can take up just a portion of the screen.
