Would the 13.2 LCD display work on 2023 Maverick XLT?

I have never used the empty annoying hole next to my LCD display on the 2023 Maverick XLT! But now that Ford is finally shipping a larger LCD with the 2025 models, I am wondering if anyone has attempted to replace their old LCD with this new one!!? Questions I have:

1) Are the connections the same?
2) Would the existing Radio Buttons on the 2023 dash still work?
3) Doe the firmware have to be upgraded too?
4) What happens to the Warranty if the hardware is replaced?
5) And how much does the new LCD display cost?

Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated.

You have to build a harness first if you don’t have Sync 3
Plus a Apim and escape monitor, lot of programming.
there’s a lot of threads on forum
I have about $ 300 total but I was able to gut a 2023 escape
I have changed from my 13.2 to a transit 12” now .
Little taller but a better fit

APIM needs to be completely replaced to a Sync 4 one.
