From order to delivery, mine took 327 days (details in my sig). But I really do think people ordering this year are mostly NOT going to see that kind of wait time. They've managed to tamp down orders by upping the hybrid price and through the fact that "word on the street" now is you'll wait a year at least, which further tamped down demand. The fact that the order banks remain open is telling.

OP says he's waffling on color? I gotta say, every single day I walk up to my HPR, I thank GOD I went with that color. Was originally going to order white, then moved to Cactus Gray, then finally to HPR. Best choice I've ever made. It is a stunning color.

Ordered a 24 lariat the second week of August and received a VIN and build date of third week of October from Ford.
How? I ordered my XLT hybrid Lux pkg Sept 19 2022 and not to be in production till 4 more days. This strike will no doubt mess that up.

I ordered a hybrid Lariat 7/17 at a dealer with no rollovers and the dealer basically said it will be in when it comes in. I'm not in a hurry but would love to have it by spring to tow behind my RV.

Gotta take the dealers word that they don’t have any rollovers to fulfill with a grain of salt; my dealership said the same and I’m skeptical

I ordered the last day of July. Got a build date of 3rd week of October. I feel it will be here by Christmas.

I ordered a Carbonized Gray Hybrid XLT on 5 Nov 21 at my local dealership and they estimated 3 months then. It rolled over for a 2023 model when the new order window opened and still no word. Someone ordered a 22 Carbonized Gray EB Lariat and did not pick it up and the dealership called and asked if I wanted it. It had more features than I needed, especially the $900 moon roof, but I bought it any way and have been really pleased with it. The mileage is better than expected, I got 34.6 mpg on the last road trip. Good luck getting your 24.

In 2022, the order banks were open less than a week for MY23s. This year, the banks opened 7/17, and are still open. About 7 weeks and counting. I suspect production and delivery will be much quicker for 24s. Of course, that assumes that a UAW strike doesn’t affect production. Yes, I know the Hermosillo plant is not UAW, but some parts are made in the US in UAW plants (I think hybrid electric motors). Hopefully, Hermosillo stockpiled a bunch of parts.

I was just wondering to anyone who's ordered a 2024 Maverick, what were the typical wait estimates you got from your dealer? Six months? One year? Year and a half? Undetermined? I figure with Ford raising the prices across the board to dwindle demand, that would translate to an increase in production and more Mavericks showing up on dealer lots. Or I could be wrong. I'm aware that there's several 23 and even 22 rollovers that have to be fulfilled first (at least in theory) Some input would be great. I enjoy the Maverick so much that I want another one but with the added FX4 package. I'm also thinking a different color. The Atlas Blue has been growing on me. Or maybe Hot Pepper Red. I can't decide if I want to order another one or try to scour a 2023 on the lot at some point.

We were told 6-8 months.

When I ordered mine a year ago my dealer just shrugged and wished me luck.
Got the same for my rollover order as well.
We must have the same dealer

My order saga: On September 17, 2022, just about 355 days ago as I write this, I placed an order for a 23 hybrid Lariat. In mid August 2023 - 3 weeks ago -I received a congratulatory email from Ford with a VIN and a scheduled production date for the week of October 16, 2023 as a '24. Based on the VIN, my Lariat hybrid will be Mav number 3,170 built in 2024. My assumption is that Ford did in fact prioritize old unfilled orders ahead of new orders for the 2024 model as they said they would. I checked the contraint list in a post from yesterday [9/6/23] and none of my options are constrained. Mexican autoworkers labor union solidarity with a UAW strike could change things. Once my 24 is on the dealer's lot I will ask my dealer to log into Smart VINCENT per details from an older video that Tim Bartz of Long McArthur Ford posted to see that I get my private offer which for my model should be $2500. I don't think my order qualified for price protection. My understanding regarding price protection[also visible in Smart VINCENT] is, unlike the private offer, price protection $$ goes to the dealer and it is up to the dealer to pass those $$ along to the customer. I have neither a deposit nor a signed agreement from my small local dealer - just a handshake to sell it to me at MSRP with no dealer installed high markup items. Let me know if my understanding as to price protection and private offers is off base.

Now, obviously dealers are kind of guessing too, but I asked about whether or not he thought I would have to get a new X-plan PIN, since mine expires May 18, 2024. He felt certain I would not have to get a new one. Stated they are anticipating I will have the truck before Easter at the latest. I ordered a Lariat Hybrid. They had 10 roll-overs. Didn't ask about their allocations. I am fully counting on the fact that since I want my truck to take about until March (husband's truck will be paid off then) it will absolutely come earlier than expected.

I am in a similar boat. March delivery would be best because that is when my house will be paid off. But alas, I am an instant gratification kind of guy and I really don't want to wait that long.

Same for me. My X-plan PIN expires in June. If the Maverick isn't delivered by then, which seems a distinct possibility, I plan to request a new PIN.

Orders I've placed + time to production + time to order

2022 Hybrid - 8/31, picked it up on 5/6 = 9 months
2023 Hybrid - 9/16, currently in route = 12 months.
2024 Hybrid - 6/17 - Scheduled for 10/31 - could see it by 12/1 = 5 1/2 months

My 2024 VIN is 17XX, so I'm probably scheduled the very first week of production.

Essentially, I ordered 'day 1' and it is going to take 5 1/2 months.

If you ordered one today, I have no idea where you would fall in the queue.

I ordered mine in September 2022. At that time my dealer said 6-8 months. HA! Almost a year later and still nothing. Chaps my a$$ to see new 24s being scheduled before me.
