2024 maverick order

Hello. I had ordered a 2024 Maverick lariat with a 4k tow package and the fx4 package back on 6/15. I didn’t get a lot of info right away from the dealer, and not much communication on their part. I was told that the production date was 8/13. I still have no info to track anything, but I recently went on their website to look at inventory and it seems like the one I had ordered shows recently arrived, anyone else have any issues like that? First time ordering anything. I also put a deposit down on it as well.

The dealership websites are full of with what's on their lot (sometimes), on order, in production etc etc. Most times it's due to a lack of updating or they just haven't been able to yet, but for the "in transit" and "production" ones you are seeing, they could have sold those months ago and they keep them up there to lure a potential sale in they say "lemme check the inventory".

Anytime I wanted communication with my dealer, I showed up. But if you can get your actual tracking info from them, that would be helpful. Call them, email them, whatever... if they don't respond, show up and force them to acknowledge you.

And make sure that deposit is refundable. Probably too late, but they don't need a deposit for any reason. They are going to sell the truck if you buy it or not.

I ordered my ‘24 XLT FX4 back in April and am taking delivery tomorrow. I had to chase my dealer like they were the ones who owed me money, like Montana said, go to the dealer and bug them.

Yep, they don't really care if you ordered the vehicle. In their eyes it's their vehicle and in my case they listed the vehicle I ordered on their web site before it even arrived at the stealership.
