2024 Hybrid Lariat - Trailer lights

I just hooked up new trailer lights to my trailer and tried hooking up the trailer to my 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid and none of the lighting functions work.

Are you talking about the lighting on the trailer, or on the Mav? Did trailer lights work before you hooked up the new lights? You should be able to hook up a voltmeter to your trailer plug and confirm you're getting expected voltages out of the plug on the Mav if you have the brake or turn signals applied. If you get proper voltages, then something's not correct with the trailer wiring itself. The 4-pin connector is pretty standard - I'd suggest checking this reference: https://www.curtmfg.com/towing-electrical-wiring to make sure you have the trailer wired properly. I'd probably start with confirming you have a good ground on the trailer, and your lights are connected properly between the ground and the proper wire on the plug for each function.

Yes the lights on the trailer itself don’t work. All installed correctly. Is there a specific light model I should buy for this truck, I just picked up something at Home Depot. They do work on another vehicle.

If you have a pair of jumper cables, try establishing a new ground circuit from the trailer to an exposed bolt on the Maverick.

I had the same issue on mine when I got it. 2 trailers with known good trailer lights wouldn’t work on my Mav. Took it in and Ford said it tested fine. Tool it back home, plugged it into trailer again and waiting a minute. Then lights started working. Still seems querky but does seem to operate normally most of the time. Do you get a message on dash saying that trailer lights have a fault?
