I have lariat luxury package, co pilot 360, talked to salesman about a friend with Lincoln who drove from Florida to Michigan without using brakes except for gas. He said I could do the same
But did you also option the CoPilot 360 Assist? Do you have this box at the bottom of your grille?
If no then you don't actually have ACC.

The reason I got the luxury pkg and 360 for my original order in 22 was the adaptive cruise. I guess I wasted a couple grand

In 2022 it was included in the Lux package or 360, don't remember which. For 2023 Ford broke everything out and you needed the new 360 Assist package to get it.
MY 2022 Lariat Luxury Package included ACC, ESA, remote start, rear park aid, etc. There was only one optional Co-Pilot360 package, available on all trims. The extra features (ACC, etc.) were technically part of the Luxury Pack.
MY 2023 offers the Co-Pilot360 Assist Package on top of LLP. ACC, remote start, bedliner, etc. are all optional.

Got it all and more fascinated with the way it works every day. Nothing to do with those packages but, when I stop at the end of a trip. I just press the start button and it turns off and puts it in parking. Talk about a lazy man's advantage...

Ford made it pretty confusing when they went to ala cart option packs but I guess it made sense for them. My 22 Lariat/Lux with everything got it's dual HVAC temp dials snatched away 5 days before mine went into production.

Reference my previous posts. Sadly I experienced the same thing. I actually requested ACC before purchase. Told it was included in the loaded lariat. It took me awhile, as you, until I realized ACC not included. Salespeople and other staff thought it was included. Deceived by the nature of repackaging product during chip shortage.
that's exactly what Ford did for MY23. I assume they thought dealerships and customers would be fully informed and aware, and anyone who wanted ACC would option lariat lux, copilot 360, and copilot 360 assist. this is a price increase, but it also allowed the possibility of someone willfully choosing lariat lux for those options - B&O sound, heated seats and wheel, etc and intentionally deciding that they didn't want/need ACC and skipping cp360 assist to save a few bucks.
what really happened is that a lot of people who did want ACC missed that they needed to option cp360 assist.
it was really stupid of them to do, and so they made lariat lux mandatory in MY24 and brought ACC (back) into the package like it was in MY22.
