Just got the email from FORD today that my 23 Atlas Blue Lariat Tremor has a build date of 12/05/22... I even got a VIN number... now the "fun" really begins

I just had a dealer offer me a MY23 XLT Hybrid (lux). He said they ordered it last month, but the buyer decided they didn't want it. Seems strange that they already have a MY23... and a hybrid at that...

So I've seen blue tremor orders 12/5 -12/13 and Avalanche on 11/28.

I've been waiting since Oct 9, 2021. Rolled over into a 23MY with a VIN and scheduled build week Dec. 19th. However, I have been reading that many of the Dec 19 build weeks are now January 9 build weeks. I don't understand why some folks have to wait a really long time while others not long at all. All of this doesn't make sense to me. None the less, I'm happy for ya. Envious I am.

I just have to step away from this forum, seeing people with build dates already but being in absolute limbo is just driving me crazy.
I've been converted but that's it so you're not alone. Just a damn good thing that my car is running well. Sanity is overrated.

Thanks for the info. Just talked to Ford HQ because my dealer is garbage and literally won’t communicate anything. My order is not cancelled but will transfer to ‘23. My new production date is week of Jan 6. They said all 7000 pending hybrid order will be transferred due to supply issues. They say we will get priority but we’ll see.

That's what he meant, your 22 order was canceled and a 23 order was opened. Don't expect to get preferential treatment (even though you deserve it), the rollover 23 orders are mixed in with all the new 23 orders.
