Had my 2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid checked out for transmission leak and the dealer came back with the following costs and jobs estimate:
1) Reseal transmission and install new engine mounts - $7176
2) Front axles causing rumbling - $2176
I know the axle issue is common.
But damn my car is out of warranty with 70,300 miles on it.
Any suggestions? Call Ford to beg to make an exception of help with the costs? Give up and sell it to dealer and pay off car loan?
