Only vehicle. I own one other car but it's insured elsewhere since I'm about to sell it.
Who did you go through for insurance? Geico? They are usually the cheapest.

Still yet to see another Maverick in Whatcom county. There is another one here in my local area but haven't seen him yet. Still a celebrity around here :) Was sitting at the pub watching people walk by and stop and do the full circle around the truck.

I also forgot how dirty cars get in Washington - when your car is 14 years old you don't really pay attention the same way :) All the gravel, salt, mud on the roads from those snow storms is still around and making my truck dirty.

Hello from the Seattle area. For those of you who ordered through Bowen Scarff, how long did it take from placing the order to getting your truck delivered? I ordered an Ecoboost mid December. Was wondering how big a volume dealer they are.

Man, I am so sorry. That's depressing to hear. I have had more close calls since getting my Maverick than I can ever remember. It's not as if people can't see my bright Cyber Orange truck. Maybe I just think the incursions are more frequent because I'm so sensitive to my new rig?

I hope the body shop is able to source the parts quickly. Wishing you the best and thankful it was not worse!
I drove my 2000 Ford Ranger for 10 years before the Mav, it was black, and the only incident was someone hitting it in a parking lot while I was parked. I drive a brand new bright blue truck for 3 months and get rear ended, on a road I travel on frequently. Oh the irony.

I’m fine, the truck handled the impact well. I’ll need a new rear bumper for sure but the tailgate and rear quarter panel can probably just be refinished. The BMW had its whole front bumper nearly torn off, grill and headlights got all mangled. It was bananas having all the collision alert systems go off (all my cars have been so low tech). I was at a stoplight and I think he just never even saw me and just hit me going about 30 mph.

Thanks so much Paul for taking the time to reply. I am so sorry to hear about you getting rear ended. I had that happen in my Mazda just over a year ago, it was actually my 1st accident ever in ~17 years of driving. I hope they're able to make it 100% for you & that the BMW has full insurance. I made the mistake of using mine initially to help with my claim instead of just going through theirs. That's great to hear it seems safe. I saw in a video review recently the reviewer was super impressed by how solid the doors sounded when closed so it seems structurally it's good.

I just stopped by tonight & my sales guy Mahdi was able to introduce me to Mike. I mentioned to Mike you had nothing but great things to say & he remembered you, he actually said he thought yours was the nicest one he'd seen so far. You're right, he was super knowledgeable & was able to confirm I was good in COVP & also gave me some more #'s as to where they are in terms of orders/where I am thankfully. I'm just so relieved they seem to honor MSRP after seeing so many horrible dealer experience stories on here.

Hope to see you & some of the others in the area sometime at a meetup or something. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's customizations. Still haven't thought of what I'm doing for a cubby buddy lol.
Mahdi was my sales guy too! He took over when my original one left the dealer, hence why I was primarily working with Mike. It was a pretty fun day at the dealer when mine arrived since it was the first they got. I really wanted to stay local as well and knew Harris was a high volume dealer so it was a good match, I ordered 6/23 and it was delivered 10/13.

The other driver has USAA which my insurance lady said is usually good at handling third party claims so I’m going go through his insurance. He’s already admitted fault, so so far the process has been pretty painless except for ruining my weekend detailing and painting plans. I’m really impressed with how it handled the impact and that I’m not crazy sore. I was a passenger in a hatchback that got rear ended by a 4Runner and aside from the 10k of damage it did at similar speeds, I was pretty banged up.

I really hope we can have a meet up soon when there are more NW Mavs, and mine is all fixed and shiny again. 🤣

I got a bunch of good cubby buddy’s from Archie Mcphees, if you need inspiration and just need a bunch of weird things that can fit there.

My Accord is through Geico and that was the cheapest, but they couldn't come even close to Progressive so that's who I chose.

Yeah Mahdi has been great, he's super nice. I think they have less Maverick orders than Broncos so I'm hoping my XL gets a scheduling email sometime in February hopefully.

Same with the person that rear ended me, USAA was great & they admitted fault right away too. I stopped at a sidewalk intersection/walkway to allow two people to cross over in Greenlake & the lady in the BMW X1 behind me was probably on her phone & slammed into me. Was a full bumper replace & they paid me ~$1,200 for the inconvenience which I was happy with due to no injuries ( they paid too for a quick doctor visit). I'm sure they'll take care of you, your payment should likely be much higher than mine since my car wasn't worth much.

Do you have a dashcam for the front/rear? Given the way folks drive in Seattle and just general damage possible I'm definitely going to get one.

Would be great to do a meetup. I saw they might organize a meetup on the Bronco forum, would be cool to do a combined meetup of all the newer Ford vehicles in general too.

I always drive by Archie Mcphees & haven't been in before, I'll definitely have to check it out. Since I'm going Cactus Grey, I figured I should get a cactus figure or something.

On my way home from Oregon yesterday (Jan. 29, 2022) a carbonized gray Maverick with a cab on it passed me on I-5 (Chehalis area I think). I tried to keep up but the traffic is quite heavy.
Then around Everett (Mukilteo exit area) there was a Black Maverick that was on lane 4 lining up to exit. These are the only Maverick I've seen so far.
So excited to get mine. Scheduled for production this week (or is it next week).
Have a great week ahead folks.

I was actually driving my old car as I was on the way to sell it and saw the first other local Maverick around here. He'd only had it for 2 days but there are 3 I know of in my area now. Going to see a lot more around I think. It was the Hybrid in area 51 with steelies.

@2thGAP @Big Kahuna That's so awesome you have both seen some Mavericks locally on the roads. I hope to see some soon here in the Lynnwood area. Only have seen 2 Broncos on the road. I have yet to see one Maverick except for the two I saw at the Seattle Auto Show & they didn't let anyone inside the Hybrid due to it being a pre-production vehicle (which I still don't understand the reasoning).

I was able to stop by tonight & as another forum member - @TheBear mentioned, Mike the GSM was super helpful. My salesperson Mahdi has been awesome but I think only the GSM has access to some of the info. He was able to confirm that all their orders they submit through COVP & gave me a printout showing I was confirmed/approved status. I had seen Tim Bartz post that it's something to verify. I think they're somewhere roughly around ~250 Maverick orders in total & I think they said ~70 or something for hybrid if I recall correctly (I'm not 100%). He did mention their dealership is usually within top 5 or 10 every year for volume. When I mentioned the Ford inventory website was showing a lot from other dealers but not theirs, he said that it's because they don't post their retail orders to their website since they're technically not available unless an order holder cancels.

While I didn't get anything in writing since no VIN, I do believe they will honor MSRP and not add ADM/Accessories. I like that it's a local dealer & while they may not get as many allocations as the bigger dealers, at least they're nearby for future service/etc.

Did you order an ecoboost or hybrid? I know ecoboosts seem to schedule pretty quick. I'm a 10/1 hybrid order. I don't think they got a ton of early orders either so we may not be that far down the queue & he did say they've had a few September orders scheduled & most early ones have been scheduled I believe. I hope this info helps. He was super busy so I appreciated him taking the time to answer my questions.
Nice to see numbers from this dealer. I ordered July 8th. XLT Lux Hybrid. some day I will get a vin #.... the constraints for Hybrids and the Lux packages has slowed the builds for a lot of people.

Mike, the sales manager at Harris, was great. I was their first ordered Maverick to hit the lot. Dealerships just generally seem to be squirrelly about pricing, but mine was MSRP and he said they never mark up customer orders. It was super smooth and once I switched to just talking with Mike, communication got a lot better.

Sadly, I was rear ended tonight and it sustained some decent damage to the tailgate and bumper, so I might be waiting some time for it get fixed so you probably won’t see mine on the road for a bit again. The BMW suv sustained some serious damage though, so my Mav won that battle which is a minor consolation. I just changed over the FX4 stickers and was going to paint the emblems this weekend. 😭
Oh no!!!! Glad you are okay. That beemer couldn’t handle them Street cred of the Mav maybe 🤔

Broncos are all over the place compared to the Mav. I’ve had mine for about a couple of weeks now and I’m yet to see any in the wild
Update- I had my first sighting of a mav today on my way from work around the Auburn area. Felt good to see another other than mine 😁
