Quite a bit more work than washing my old Tacoma I just sold. I guess that makes sense when it is a 4 door vs a little extended cab... though the Maverick's roof is a couple inches lower. Normally our mornings arent so bad but I had to RUSH to get it dry before water spots.

Next up is to ceramic coat. Doesn't seem like there is much protectant on the paint compared to the Corolla Hybrid we bought a few months ago, it beads up real nice.

I think the last 30 days (and possibly the next 10) will go down in history as the hottest weather span in recorded history (last 150 years or whatever that is) for Arizona. It has been BRUTAL. So weird cause our winter was super wet and spring super cool.

That’s a pretty Tacoma. The gen 2 - 4 door Tacoma was my first choice for a new-to-me truck. Settled on the Maverick. Lol.

Quite the opposite for me. The Maverick is much easier to clean than my Tacoma was ;)

I had a full size truck for the longest time before the Tacoma and all the Tacoma did was make me miss a smaller truck. I ventured into multiple vehicle territory and found myself driving my smaller more efficient cars more often, so in came the want for a Maverick as the "do it all" replacement. Made some compromises, obviously, but I'm loving how easy it is to clean.

Get some full size drying cloths from Harbor Freight. I have 6 total but I usually only need one for the entire vehicle. If I use the 2nd one it's because I'm using the softer side on the windshields after my initial drying. They are magical towels lol. As with any microfiber, the details are in how you maintain them. Too much static and they attract lint then stop working as they should etc etc, but I've never had a problem with these bigger drying towels. I can run it through the touchless wash a couple times a week then dry the surface in minutes. It's not a full detail, but it's much better looking than hard water spots.
